Deutsch Kerrigan is proud to announce that attorneys Kelly Theard and Melissa Lessell have been named to New Orleans Magazine’s first-ever Top Women in Law list for 2025, an honor selected by fellow attorneys throughout the New Orleans area.
The Top Women in Law distinction is based on peer nominations, where attorneys in the New Orleans area are asked to recommend colleagues they trust and respect in various practice areas. The final list is determined by the attorneys who receive the most nominations.
Kelly Theard, Managing Partner of Deutsch Kerrigan and head of the firm’s Construction Department, was recognized among the top women in Construction Litigation. Melissa Lessell, a partner in the firm’s Professional Liability and Insurance Defense practices, earned distinction in the Professional Liability category.
