Passenger sues over auto accident injuries

The driver of a Toyota Yaris and her insurers are being sued over injuries suffered by a passenger in another vehicle last year at the intersection of Camp and Julia in New Orleans.

Brandie Baque, Safe Auto Insurance Co., Franco Limene and Usagencies Casualty Insurance Co. are named as defendants in a suit filed May 14 in Orleans Parish District Court.

According to the complaint, plaintiff Germaine Armand of Jefferson Parish was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Franco Limene of Jefferson Parish on May 15, 2009, when suddenly and without warning, their vehicle was struck by the Yaris operated by Baque of Tangipahoa Parish.
