Private security firm claims Warwick Hotel owes $60k for services

Blackhawk Protection Services is suing the owners of the Warwick Hotel in New Orleans for allegedly failing to pay for more than $60,000 in services, according to petition filed in Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

New Orleans attorney Carl Finley filed the lawsuit Jan. 27. It alleges that Blackhawk supplied workmen, skill, materials, labor and/or services for hotel security from January to December 2010.

The lawsuit names The Warwick Corp. as a defendant. It claims that Warwick employee Michael Man acted on authority of the hotel to hire Blackhawk and to terminate the contract in December.

The lawsuit claims the plaintiffs billed the defendants for $61,775, which has not been paid.

This lawsuit was assigned to Judge Paulette Irons.
