NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans woman is suing a private school for injuries she claims she suffered on their premises.
Hillery and Edward Moise filed suit on March 2 in Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Ursuline Academy, Ursuline Provincialate and their insurer.
Mosie claims she was walking across Ursuline's parking lot when she tripped over a "permanent hazard" and fell. The plaintiff alleges she received significant injuries from the fall and required assistance from school personnel and individuals in the immediate area.
An unspecified amount in damages is sought for significant injuries to Hillery Moise and loss of consortium, affection and income for her husband.
The Moise's are being represented by New Orleans-based attorney Byron Rene Arthur.
Case number 2012-02134 has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
