Organic Marketing being sued for overdue rental bills

BATON ROUGE – A New Orleans-based marketing firm is being sued for back payments it allegedly owes an equipment company.

H&E Equipment Services, Inc. filed suit in the 19th Judicial District Court against Richard T. Parker and Organic Marketing on May 23.

H&E claims Organic Marketing and Parker rented equipment and have maintained an open account. The plaintiff alleges Parker agreed to bind himself to any debts owed by Organic Marketing. H&E asserts the defendants owe $42,589.28 for overdue rental fees and for repairs to equipment rented to the defendants.

Damages in the amount of $42,589.28 plus legal interest and attorney's fees is sought by the plaintiff.

H&E is represented by Mackenzie S. Ledet of Baton Rouge-based Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell and Berkowitz, P.C.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Janice Clark.
