GRETNA – A Kenner sub-contractor is suing a Metairie contractor for allegedly not paying for completed work.
Dirt Worx of Louisiana, LLC filed suit against Icon Construction Group in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 1.
Dirt Worx claims it was sub-contracted by Icon to provide work on a project on Aycock St. in St. Bernard Parish. The plaintiff alleges it did $91,600 of earth works and drainage projects on the property but was not reimbursed the full amount.
The defendant is accused of non-payment.
Damages in the amount of $32,844.25 plus legal interest and attorney's fees are sought.
