Orleans Shoring suing customer for alleged non-payment

GRETNA – A Harahan-based shoring company is suing a Kenner woman for allegedly non-payment of services.

Orleans Shoring filed suit against Maggie Bridges in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 23. Orleans Shoring claims it provided labor, services, materials and equipment to elevate Bridges' home located at 3548 E. Loyola Drive in Kenner. The plaintiffs allege the defendant did not pay the $8,263.75 for the work as stipulated in a contract for services.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $8,263.75 plus 25 percent interest for attorney's fees.

Orleans Shoring is represented by Harahan-based attorney Jason Wade.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
