Don Bohn Ford sues limousine service claiming check bounced

GRETNA – A limousine service is being sued by a car dealership for allegedly bouncing a check meant to pay for repairs on one of its vehicles.

Harvey Ford, LLC and Don Bohn Ford filed suit against Prestige Limousine Service, LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 24. Harvey Ford, LLC and Don Bohn Ford claim Prestige Limousine Service dropped off a vehicle for repair and that after the repairs were completed Prestige Limousine Service paid with a check in the amount of $1,754.95 issued by Whitney Bank. The plaintiff alleges that the check was returned twice due to insufficient funds in the account.

The defendant is accused of not providing payment for services.

Damages in the amount of $3,509.10 are sought for the repairs plus legal interest and attorney's fees.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Donald A. Rowan, Jr.
