Local company sued by nationwide refrigeration supplier for alleged nonpayment

NEW ORLEANS – A refrigeration supply company is suing a New Orleans business for alleged nonpayment of parts.

Acme Refrigeration, Inc. on Pennsylvania and Acme Refrigeration Supplies filed suit against JP Mack Industries, LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 21. Acme claims it shipped four refrigeration parts to the plaintiff valued at a total of $34,350.02. The plaintiff claims it was never paid for the shipment.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $34,350.02 plus 25 percent attorney's fees, legal interest and courts costs are requested by the plaintiff.

Acme is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin of New Orleans-based Couch, Conville & Blitt, LLC.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
