NEW ORLEANS – A Lafourche Parish-based marine towing company is suing a contractor for alleged non-payment of vessel rental.
Louisiana Marine Towing, LLC filed suit against Sun Coast Contracting in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 26. Louisiana Marine Towing claims it rented numerous vessels to Sun Coast and never received payment for some of the rentals.
The defendant is accused of renting vessels from the plaintiff and not paying for them.
Damages in the amount of $26,734 are sought by the plaintiff.
Louisiana Marine Towing is represented by Lafourche-based attorney Charles M. Rush.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
