LKM Enterprises is suing local clothing store owner for breach of lease

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish property company is suing the owner of a local clothing store for abandoning a leased property, leaving the property in deplorable condition and failing to pay rent.

LKM Enterprises, LLC filed a lawsuit against Mazin Sarsour in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Oct. 30. The plaintiff claims that the defendant leases a commercial space for a clothing store but abandoned the property without notice to LKM and failed to pay the rent for the month of July 2012 and all months subsequent thereto.

The defendant is accused of breach of lease.

$126,000.00 is sought in past due rent, $4,000 in forfeited rent deposit and attorney costs and expenses.

The plaintiff is represented by Charles Ciaccio of Kenner.

This case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.

Case no. 2012-10203.
