NEW ORLEANS – A patron of the local fast food restaurant is suing over an alleged slip and fall incident.
Robert Boeckelman filed a lawsuit against New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Company in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Dec. 7.
The plaintiff claims that while leaving the defendant's establishment he slipped and fell on an unknown substance located directly outside of its door. As a result of the fall the plaintiff claims to have suffered bodily injury in the form of multiple abrasions, left pelvis contusion and back pain.
The defendant is accused of negligence, creating a hazardous condition, failing to post warning signs of the hazardous condition and failing to discover and correct dangerous conditions on the premises.
An unspecified amount is sought for all damages.
The plaintiff is represented by Julian G. Baudier Jr. of New Orleans-based Roberts, Baudier & Dye.
This case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
