Shoring company sues subcontractor and homeowner for alleged non payment

Shoring

GRETNA – A Harahan-based shoring company is suing a Westwego property owner and an elevation sub-contractor for alleged non-payment for a home elevation job.

Orleans Shoring LLC filed suit against Nelson Waits and Tim Clark Construction LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on Jan. 31. Orleans Shoring claims they sub-contracted a home elevation for Wait's Westwego property to Tim Clark Construction. The plaintiff alleges that Tim Clark Construction agreed to complete the job using all of their own materials and labor, but would pay a fee to the plaintiff. Orleans Shoring asserts that they are still owed $10,452 for contractor fees for the job.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $10,452 plus attorney's fees, legal costs and costs of proceedings.

Orleans Shoring is represented by Harahan-based attorney Jason Wade.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.

Case no. 723-453.
