Condo association sues children of deceased owner seeking $5K in unpaid dues

Breach of contract

GRETNA – A Metairie-based condominium association is suing the daughters of a deceased condo owner for non-payment of dues.

Fountain Court Condominium Association Inc. filed suit against Elizabeth Keen Valenti and Deborah Keen Butler, in their capacity as the co-trustees of the revocable living trust of Catherine Skelding Keen, in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 17.

Fountain Court Condominium Association claims that the defendants owe them for an unpaid balance of condo dues. The plaintiff claims it is owed $5,000.84. Fountain Court Condominium Association asserts that despite demand for the allegedly unpaid balance the defendants have failed to make any payments.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $5,000.84 is sought by the plaintiff.

Fountain Court Condominium Association is represented by Clarence F. Favret III of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.

Case no. 729-003.
