GRETNA – A woman who purchased a restaurant as part of a limited liability company is suing another office in the company for allegedly withholding profits from her.

Rae Lynn Hartman Scott filed suit against Ty Christopher Scott, T & R LLC and Zydeco’s Cajun Kitchen in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 6.

Rae Lynn claims that along with Ty, on May 2, 2008 she organized a limited liability company that bought an interest in Zydeco’s Cajun Kitchen located at 7010 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse. The plaintiff alleges that since forming the limited liability company she and Ty have both received salaries. However, Rae Lynn asserts that Ty received profits and distributions she did not receive. The plaintiff claims she is worried that Ty may hide the profits.

The defendant is accused of not paying equal profits and shares as other company officers.

The plaintiff asks the court to freeze all bank accounts in T & R LLC’s name and that a books and records request be compelled to show an accounting of all funds from May 2008 through the present.

Scott is represented by Denisse Y. Parrales of Gretna-based Hesni & Parrales PLC.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.

Case no. 729-692.
