Cabinet contractor for apartment building suing for alleged non-payment

Breach of contract

GRETNA – A company who supplied and installed cabinets for a New Orleans apartment building for which they claim they were never paid is suing.

Kitchens International Inc. filed suit against F.H. Myers Construction Corp. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 31.

Kitchens International Inc. asserts it was contracted by F.H. Myers Construction Corp. to supply and install cabinets at the Chateau Carre Apartments located at 3000 Gentilly Blvd. in New Orleans. The plaintiff alleges it performed all of the obligations under the contract, but were not paid. F.H. Myers Construction Corp. claims it is still owed $41,037.57 for the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages $41,037.57 are sought by the candidate.

Kitchens International Inc. is represented by attorney Gail A. Snakenberg of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.

Case no. 732-547.
