GRETNA – A local restaurant is being sued by a customer who claims a tissue dispenser fell onto her foot and injured her as she was using the restroom.
Sandra Norman filed suit against NOLA Wings Veterans LLC, Buffalo Wild Wings, Compleat Hospitality Management LLC and the Hartford Insurance Company in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 2.
Norman alleges she was a customer at the Buffalo Wild Wings located at 3434 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie on June 9, 2013 when she entered a bathroom stall. The plaintiff asserts that while she was seated on the toilet she attempted to use the tissue dispenser when the dispenser fell and struck her in the foot and ankle. An unspecified amount in damages is sought for physical pain and suffering, mental anguish and medical expenses.
Norman is represented by attorney Darryl Harrison of New Orleans.
