GRETNA – A local casino is being sued by a woman who was allegedly injured after she tripped on a bolt sticking out of the floor.

Addie L. Schexnaydre, and husband Rene, filed suit against Treasure Chest Casino LLC and Boyd Gaming Corporation in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 2.

Schexnaydre asserts she was exiting the Treasure Chest Casino located at 5050 Williams Blvd. in Kenner when she tripped on a bolt protruding out of the floor and fell. An unspecified amount in damages is sought for pain and suffering, emotional distress, mental anguish, loss of earning capacity and medical supplies.

Schexnaydre is represented by Darryl J. Becnel of the Reserve-based Becnel Law Firm LLC.

The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
