GRETNA – A dry cleaning company is suing an electrician for allegedly falsifying information about the company he worked for and damaging one of its dry cleaning machines.
Cleaning Depot Inc. filed suit against Jun Namgung in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 8.
Cleaning Depot Inc. asserts it hired Namgung to provide electrical work, piping and repairs for a price of $16,000. The plaintiff contends that the defendant did not perform the contracted work in a workmanlike manner resulting in damage to a dry cleaning machine. Cleaning Depot Inc. alleges Namgung provided a false address and also did not work for W&N Enterprises Inc. when he claimed he did.
The plaintiff claims due to the plaintiff’s actions they had to hire another repairman to fix their equipment.
The defendant is accused of breach of contract.
An unspecified amount in damages is sought for lost profits and cost or repairs.
