NEW ORLEANS – Entergy is suing the New Orleans Sewage & Water Board claiming it damaged the energy provider’s facilities during a construction project.
Entergy New Orleans Inc. filed suit against New Orleans Sewage & Water Board in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Feb. 27.
On Feb. 28, 2014, the defendant, New Orleans S&WB, was allegedly performing construction at 6314 Carlson Street in New Orleans. The plaintiff, Entergy, claims that during the construction the defendant incurred damages to Entergy’s facilities while finishing the aforementioned construction. The petitioner further contends the cost of the damage is $2,817.04.
The defendant is accused of carelessly destroying the plaintiff’s property, failing to review the work area, properly use construction equipment and prevent a dangerous condition.

The case has been assigned to Div. G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
