Concrete company sues customer over $7K on open account

BATON ROUGE – A local concrete company is suing one of its customer’s after he failed to pay the remaining balance owed on the account.

Quality Concrete Group LLC filed suit against Joshua Austin in the 19th Judicial District Court on April 28.

According to court records, the defendant purchased concrete and other miscellaneous items on an open account leaving a principal balance of $7,188.48. In February 2015, the plaintiff sent a letter to the defendant asking him to pay his remaining balance. However, the defendant allegedly failed to make any payments within the required 30 days.

The plaintiff is asking that the defendant is order to pay the full amount of $7,188.48, with attorney fees and court cost

Attorney Creighton B. Abadie of Baton Rouge represents the plaintiff.

This case has been assigned to Division D Judge Janice Clark.
