Jefferson Parish couple allegedly did not pay for shoring contract work

GRETNA – A company alleges a Jefferson Parish couple did not pay for completed work.

120 West Partners LLC filed a suit against John A. Fulco III and Crystal B. Fulco in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 13.

According to the claim, the defendants entered into a shoring contract on Dec. 8, 2011, with a contractor and it completed the work outlined in the contract following the execution of a promissory note. The suit states that despite completing the agreed-upon work, the defendant failed to uphold the details of the promissory note. The rights, title and interest in the note were transferred to the plaintiff, the suit states.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract through the failure to uphold the promissory note.

The plaintiff is seeking damages of $30,000. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of the Oakes Law Firm in Metairie. The case has been assigned to Division E Judge John J. Molaison Jr.
