GRETNA – A Louisiana corporation is seeking damages, claiming that they were not allowed to proceed with work that was approved by the defendants and the defendants' insurer.
Augustino Bros. Inc. filed a suit against Ronald A. Bonano and Susan Bonano in the 24th Judicial District Court on May 23.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into an agreement in June 2015 for home remodeling work. The suit states that despite approval from the defendants' insurer, the defendants have failed to allow the plaintiff to start the work that was agreed upon.
The defendants are accused of breach of agreement.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages and is represented by Bradford H. Walker, J. Michael Daly Jr. and Daniel R. Hynes of Walker Daly LLP in Metairie. The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
