Cintas alleges it is owed for uniform rental service agreement

GRETNA – Cintas is seeking damages, claiming that it was not paid for completed work.

Cintas Corporation No. 2 filed a suit against Jay Trucks Service Inc. and A.J. Phillip Jr. in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into an agreement for standard uniform rental service on Dec. 10, 2015. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused damages when the defendants failed to make the necessary payments beginning in January, even issuing a check that was not backed by sufficient funds.

The defendants are accused of breach of contract, as well as personal liability.

The plaintiff is seeking $57,984 damages. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph C. Lee III of Frilot LLC in New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Scott U. Schlegel.
