Crawford Electric Supply alleges it is owed for supplies provided for school project

NEW ORLEANS – A supply company is seeking damages, claiming that it was not paid for supplies provided for a school project.

Crawford Electric Supply Co. Inc. filed a suit against Western Surety Co. and Woodrow Wilson Construction LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on June 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff sold a number of electrical supplies to the Sun Industries, which Woodrow Wilson Construction LLC entered into a contract with. The defendant and Sun Industries were to complete work for the Orleans Parish School Board, according to the suit. The suit states that the defendants failed to pay the plaintiff fully for the supplies provided by it.

Woodrow Wilson Construction is accused of failure to pay for the supplies sold by the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $126,216.74 in damages. It is represented by Francis R. White III in Covington.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
