A credit corporation is seeking damages, claiming that a customer is indebted to them for more than $12,000

NEW ORLEANS – A credit corporation is seeking damages, claiming that a customer has failed to make payments since February.

VW Credit Inc filed a suit against Jaye Chestnut in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on July 6.

According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendant entered into a security agreement in which the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff for the mortgage of a 2015 Volkswagen Jetta. The suit states that despite the agreement to make regular payments beginning in February 2016, the defendant has failed to do so and is indebted to the plaintiff for an amount of more than $12,000.

The defendant is accused of failing to pay for the services rendered to him.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Tabitha Mangano.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso

The Orleans Parish Civil District Court Case number 16-6740.
