NEW ORLEANS — A couple is seeking damages following a rear-end accident.
Terry and Barry Marquez filed a suit against Progressive Security Insurance Company, Gregory Becnel and Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on June 27.
According to the claim, the plaintiffs were in their vehicle on July 3, 2015 when the incident occurred. The suit states that the defendant struck the rear of the plaintiffs' vehicle, causing damages.
The defendant is accused of negligence and failure to operate his vehicle with care.
The plaintiffs are seeking an unspecified amount in damages. They are represented by Edward J. Womac Jr. and Jonathan R. Marlowe.
The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper D. Griffin.
