NEW ORLEANS — A corporation is seeking the seizure and sale of a property for compensation of a debt owed to it.
Boes Iron Work Inc. filed a suit against Work Construction Company Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on June 22.
According to the claim, the defendant is currently in debt to the plaintiff for an amount of more than $150,000. The plaintiff is allegedly seeking a writ of fieri facias from the sheriff, for the seizure and sale of the property.
The defendant is accused of failing to pay the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by H. Minor Piper III and Brad Cousins.
The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
