Man alleges he was injured in fall in Burger King parking lot

GRETNA – A man claims that he was caused to trip and fall outside of a Burger King and was injured.

Raymond Spriggens filed a suit against Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Co. LLC and/or Strategic Restaurants Acquisition Co. II LLC, and/or Strategic Restaurant Acquisition Corp., individually and/or doing business as Burger King Restaurant in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 30.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the premises of the Burger King located at 580 Terry Parkway on July 1, 2015, when the incident occurred. The suit states that while the plaintiff was walking from his car to the restaurant, he was caused to trip and fall when his foot caught on the edge of an elevation in the pavement, resulting in injuries.

The defendants are accused of failing to make necessary repairs, failing to maintain the property and other counts.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by Martin L. Broussard Jr. of New Orleans. The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 762443.
