GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a Jefferson Parish customer has failed to pay off his credit card.
Capital One Bank filed a suit against Wayne J. Francingues in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 5.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for his use, under the agreement that he would make regular payments on his balance. The suit states that since then, the defendant has accumulated more than $2,300 on the card and has failed to make payment.
The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay off the balance of the card as previously agreed.
The plaintiff is seeking $2,390.88 in damages. It is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.
