Capital One Bank seeks damages of more than $2,400 for allegedly unpaid balance

GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a customer owes more than $2,400.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Bill A. Mader in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 5.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant for his use. The suit states that though the defendant agreed to make payments on the balance of the card, he has failed to pay off the balance of more than $2,400 which he has accumulated.

The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay off the balance of the credit card.

The plaintiff is seeking $2,437.56 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.
