The University of New Orleans alleges student has outstanding fees

GRETNA – The University of New Orleans claims that a student failed to pay for attending.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit against Justin Colter Stilling in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 1.

According to the claim, the defendant was enrolled as a student in the fall 2013 and spring 2014 semesters. The suit states that during his attendance, the defendant failed to make payments on the fees due.

The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay for attending the university.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,581 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Wendy Ramnarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
