Insurance company files suit against Joseph Stucco LLC after employee was allegedly injured

GRETNA – An insurance company is seeking damages for an employee who was allegedly electrocuted while working.

Luba Casualty Ins. Co. filed a suit against Joseph Stucco LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 8.

According to the claim, Francis Rivera was employed by the defendant in September 2015 when the incident occurred. The suit states that while the plaintiff was going about his work, he was caused physical injury by an electrical shock, which subsequently caused him to require emergency medical treatment.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to provide workers with a safe environment and failing to warn employees of the danger present.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. He is represented by John A. London III in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
