GRETNA – Discover Bank is seeking damages for more than $7,600 in allegedly unpaid credit card charges.
Discover Bank filed a suit against Jamile Brown in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 20.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the agreement that payments would be made on the balance of the card. The suit states that the defendant has incurred charges of more than $7,600 without making payments.
The defendant is accused of open account through failing to pay off the balance of the credit card.
The plaintiff is seeking $7,620.07 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nuslock, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in New Orleans.
