Capital One Bank alleges Jefferson Parish resident owes on credit card

GRETNA – Capital One Bank claims that a customer has failed to make payments on her credit card.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Heather M. Patterson in the 24th Judicial District Court on July 20.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the agreement that payments would be made on the balance of the card. The suit states that the defendant has, however, incurred a balance of more than $1,800 without making a payment.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,848.27 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
