NEW ORLEANS – Two individuals claim that they were injured due to a malfunctioning elevator.

Angie Serrano and Nelly Briceno filed a suit against Otis Elevator Co.; Canal Place Borrower LLC, doing business as The Westin New Orleans Canal Place; Interstate Management Co. LLC; Dacia Paz; ABC insurance company; and XYZ insurance company in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Aug. 24.

According to the claim, the plaintiffs were employees of a third party that were working on a contract for Canal Place Borrower.
