Roubion Construction Co. Inc. alleges it was not paid for work on residence

NEW ORLEANS – A construction company claims it was not paid for work completed on a New Orleans property.

Roubion Construction Co. Inc. filed a suit against Jacqueline Brown in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff was retained by the defendant as a general contractor in 2013 for improvements to her residence. The suit states that thought the plaintiff was issued a promissory note for $30,000 to cover the expenses of the labor, the defendant still owes more than $29,000.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff is seeking $29,200.12 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley Egenberg of Egenberg APLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
