NEW ORLEANS – A company alleges it was not paid a portion of a fee after the development of a New Orleans property.

Gulf Coast Housing Partnership LLC filed a suit against 3222 Canal Apartments LLC in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff entered into an agreement for the co-development of the defendant's property in 2013. The defendant was required to pay the plaintiff a portion of the total current development fee, but the suit states that it has thus failed to do so.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $325,000 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Tamara J. Lindsay, Daniel Lund III and Aaron J. Hurd of Coats Rose in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
