NEW ORLEANS – A woman claims that she was caused to fall on a fence that was left on the ground.
Gilda Ceasar filed a suit against Durr Construction in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on April 25.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was caused injury on Sept. 30, 2015, when she fell on a fence that had been left on the sidewalk by the defendant.
The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to repair the fence and failing to warn of the condition.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by A.J. Rebennack in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
