GRETNA – A Jefferson Parish man is alleged to have defaulted on a credit card.
Portfolio Recovery Associates LLC filed a suit against Douglas Knoll in the 24th Judicial District Court on Sept. 1.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the agreement that the defendant would make payments on the balance accumulated. The suit states that the plaintiff is still owes more than $1,500.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $1,563.85 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
