Capital One Bank is seeking damages for an allegedly open credit card account

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking damages for an allegedly open account from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Capital One Bank filed a suit against Dayami M. Rivero in the 24th Judicial District Court on March 2.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card/account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payments on the credit card, thus breaching the agreement.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $1,644.53 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry of Couch, Conville and Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
