NEW ORLEANS – A company claims that it was never paid for work completed.
Bayou Bros. Blasting filed a suit against Soniat Realty Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 2.
According to the claim, the plaintiff performed and completed work for the defendant valued at more than $28,000. The suit states that the plaintiff has not received payment yet.
The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $28,450 in damages and is represented by Lawrence C. Billeaud of Lafayette.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Tiffany G. Chase.
