GRETNA – Capital One Bank is seeking more than $7.500 allegedly owed on an open credit card account.
The bank filed a suit against Flours Bates in the 24th Judicial District Court on April 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant with the understanding that the account would be paid off. The suit states that the defendant has failed to make payment for more than $7,500 in charges.
The defendant is accused of not paying on an open account against the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is seeking $7,591.35 plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.
The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
