American Express Bank alleges Orleans Parish customer maintains an open account

NEW ORLEANS – American Express Bank is seeking damages, claiming that an Orleans Parish customer failed to pay off the balance of her credit card.

American Express Bank filed a suit against Deborah Ann Vinson in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant and the defendant has failed to pay off more than $25,000 in charges to the card.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $25,772.22 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III and Warren W. Wingerter Jr. of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
