GRETNA – American Express Bank is seeking damages for more than $27,000 in alleged credit card debt.
American Express Bank FSB filed a suit against Ann Verlander in the 24th Judicial District Court on Feb. 8.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant, which she then used to accumulate more than $27,000 in charges. The suit claims that the defendant has failed to make payments on this open account.
The defendant is accused of not paying the plaintiff on an open account.
The plaintiff is seeking $27,304.86 plus costs. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lambert, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch, Randall C. Roth and Blake J. Guidry.
