Parents alleges child's trampoline injury result of Sector 6 Louisiana's negligence

GRETNA – Grant Parish parents allege their child was injured while playing on a trampoline.

Thierry Matthis and Courtney Matthis, on behalf of their minor son, filed a suit against Sector 6 Louisiana LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiffs' minor child was on a trampoline while at the defendant's location when the incident occurred. The suit states that the child was caused to fall backward off of the trampoline, which had no safety netting. The suit also states that the fall resulted in multiple injuries to the child.

The defendant is accused of negligence.

The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Gerald J. Leydecker of Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.
