Ford Motor Credit Co. claims Jefferson Parish resident did not pay off Mustang

GRETNA – Ford Motor Credit Co. alleges a Jefferson Parish resident did not pay for a sports car in full.

Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC filed a suit against Kavonda M. Williams in the 24th Judicial District Court.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a security investment to the defendant for a 2015 Ford Mustang. The amount of the vehicle was $17,600; however, the defendant has allegedly failed to pay off the remainder of balance.

The plaintiff is seeking $9,469.45, late charges of $152.12 and $98.17 in repossession expenses extension fees in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Keith M. Frey of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
