GRETNA – A woman allegedly slipped and fell in water in a Walmart.
Suzannie Costanza filed a suit against Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 4.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was at the Walmart located at 300 W. Esplanade Ave. in Kenner on Oct. 6, 2015, when she was caused to slip and fall on water that had been left on the floor of the premises. The suit states that the plaintiff was injured by falling.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. She is represented by Allan Berger and Andrew Geiger of Allan Berger & Associates in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
