Bank of America claims Jefferson Parish individual owes more than $15,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages over claims that it is owed thousands of dollars from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Bank of America filed a suit against Marion England in the 24th Judicial District Court on Oct. 3.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued an account to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated more than $15,000 in charges and has failed to pay off the balance.

The defendant is accused of open account against the plaintiff.

The plaintiff is seeking $15,924.23 in damages. The plaintiff is represented by Bradley J. Chauvin, Benjamin G. Lamber, Sarena Y. Gaylor, Remy F. Symons, Elizabeth L. Hyman, Jeremy L. Nusloch and Randall C. Roth of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
