NEW ORLEANS – A hospital is seeking damages for an alleged breach of contract.
Omega Hospital LLC filed a suit against Louisiana Health Service & Indemnity Co., doing business as Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Louisiana, and HMO Louisiana Inc. in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court on Sept. 8.
According to the claim, the plaintiff and defendants entered into an agreement in April and the defendants allegedly breached this contract by not performing their obligations.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. The plaintiff is represented by T. Carey Wicker III and J. Alex Watkins of Capitelli & Wicket in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
